Mexico promotes tourism sector in spain fair


Mexico City, January 30, 2015.- In the framework of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2015 in Spain, Héctor Gómez Barraza, director of the National Fund for Tourism Development (FONATUR) promotes investor sector, attractive destinations in Mexico, especially the centers by the body.

Barraza Gómez explained that this is to consolidate the tourism sector as a source of regional, economic and social development, to tap the vast potential that Mexico.

Ensures that the Mexican tourism sector is strengthened as a recipient of foreign exchange, employment generator and promoter of national development.

As part of the Pavilion Mexico and in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism (Tourism Ministry), the Fonatur has a business center which develops a broad agenda of meetings between entrepreneurs and promoters of the Mexican government agency.

Parallel and company owner of the Tourism Ministry, Claudia Ruiz Massieu, Barraza Gómez hosted a dinner for potential Spanish and Mexican investors, to present business opportunities the country offers.

Among the Spanish investors include representatives of Meliá Hotels International, Aldesa Turismo, Holiday Hotels Group, Development OHL, Bahia Principe, Oasis Hotels & Resorts, Palladium Hotel Group and OHL, among others.

As for Mexican investors attendees include managers Interjet, the CONCANACO-Servytur, Grupo Posadas and Roberto Borge and Roberto Sandoval, governor of Quintana Roo and Nayarit, respectively.
