Mexican agrifoods will have presence on international fairs

Mexico City, February 04, 2015.- Agro producers and businessmen of many states of Mexico will participate in this month in a lot of important specialties fairs and expositions in the world, informed de Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA).

In a statement, it said that the support given him through the Program Trade Promotion and Export Promotion Agency Services Marketing and Agricultural Market Development (Aserca).

Sagarpa stated that the 4 to 6 February in Berlin, Germany, will be held at Fruit Logistica 2015 trade show for professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector.

The Secretary noted that over the years the fair has been a point of reference in the business platform of the most important international horticulture.

At the event, which brings together two thousand 500 exhibitors from 100 countries, the Mexico Pavilion will be comprised of 52 companies of Michoacan, Morelos, Veracruz, Sonora, Colima, Puebla, Coahuila, Jalisco, Sinaloa, Mexico City, Yucatan, Chiapas, Tabasco, Nayarit, Mexico State and Aguascalientes.

Mexican producers and entrepreneurs be offered, among other products, avocado, Mexican and Persian lemon, grapefruit, lime, banana, guava, mango, grapes, figs, asparagus, carrots, green beans, cranberry and blackberry.

The unit said that the exhibition will allow Mexican exporters identify new business opportunities in the important European market and learn about new trends.

Mexico Pavilion will be inaugurated by the Minister Minister for Europe Mexico, SAGARPA, Jorge Rueda Sousa, and the general coordinator of Trade Promotion and Export Promotion Aserca, Georgius Gotsis Fontes.

In addition, from 9 to 13 February, 19 companies Jalisco, Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Nayarit, Zacatecas and Michoacán will attend Prodexpo 2015, most important agro annual exhibition of the Russian Federation and Eastern Europe.

This is an event that will take place in Moscow, with markets that offer interesting Mexican producers, who will discuss tequila, mezcal, chia seeds, chickpeas, meat fresh and frozen equine, sweets, dried fruits, coffee and tuna opportunities .

Mexico Pavilion at the fair will be inaugurated by the Ambassador of Mexico in the Russian Federation, Ruben Beltran Guerrero.

Moreover, from 11 to 14 February will be held the exhibition Biofach Europe in the German city of Nuremberg, which is considered the most important organic products globally, and which can only participate products with organic certification force.

In this case the Mexico Pavilion will be composed of 15 companies from Jalisco, Tamaulipas, Yucatan, Oaxaca, Campeche, Michoacán, Morelos, Mexico City and Nuevo León.

In it, Mexicans will promote products such as agave inulin, aloe vera, toasted sesame oil, refined and extra virgin, chia seeds, agave nectar, stevia in different forms and coconut oil.

The Ministry of Agriculture said that also in Culiacan, Sinaloa, from 18 to 20 February will be the Expo Agro Sinaloa 2015, which is considered one of the most important events in the food industry nationwide.

In this exhibition, in addition to producers and agri-businesses, buyers supermarket chains, technicians, professionals and specialized researchers, industry leaders and representatives of agricultural agencies involved.
